    For each release of Vault, there are multiple files, each of which is explained below:
                                       

Server           (Approx 18 MB)	This installer includes the Vault server, the client, and the admin tool. Run this installer only on the server machine.
Client             (Approx 6 MB)	This installer includes the Vault client. Run this installer on every client/desktop machine.
VSS Import Tool             (Approx 3 MB)	This installer includes Vault's VSS Import tool. Please read this information before using it.
Client API Installer             (Approx 2 MB)	ForWindows. This installer includes libraries (.NET assemblies) forbuilding custom Vault clients as well as source code for the Vaultcommand-line client. The Vault Client API is subject to change, andlargely undocumented. Ask questions on our support forum if you need help.
Client API ZIP             (Approx 1 MB)	For use with Mono on non-Windows platforms.
NAnt Tasks (zip)             (Less than 1 MB)	Modules for using Vault with NAnt. First available with 3.1.6.
